By default your balances, loans, and goals stay in private browser storage on this device. Where the host uses accounts, sign-in satisfies the server gate; a separate step in Settings turns on cloud sync before your financial data is pushed for backup or multi-device use. Optional AI runs on the server only when you enable it, using anonymized context you approve.
